MDCAT (Format):

• Total Number of MCQs :200
• Duration of MDCAT :3.5 Hours
• Format : Paper-based MCQs
• Minimum pass marks for Medical College Admission : 55%
• Minimum pass marks for Dental College Admission : 45%
• No negative marking

Difficulty Level:

• 20% MCQs —- Easy
• 60% MCQs —-Moderate
• 20%MCQs —- Hard

Note: In Biology, Chemistry and Physics section, 70% questions will be recall and 30% will be application level

NUMS (Format):

NUMS Entry Test shall comprise of following components.

Pattern of NUMS Entry Test – 2022:

a. NUMS Entry Test (NET) shall comprise of two components:-

(1) PART’A’

• • • • •  Shall carry 95% weightage of NUMS Entry Test (NET)
        • Shall consist of 150 ‘One Best Option Type’ Multiple Choice Question (MCQs) with stipulated time of 150 minutes with the following breakdown:

(2) PART’B’ (Psychological Test)

• • • • •  Shall carry 5% weightage of NUMS Entry Test (NET)
        • Shall consist of 100 ‘One Best Option Type’ Multiple Choice Question (MCQs) with stipulated time of 30 minutes.

b. There Shall be no negative marking

Basic Qualification/Eligibility:

• The candidate having valid citizenship of Pakistan/Overseas Pakistanis/Dual Nationals/Foreign Nationals can appear in NUMS Entry Test 2022.
• Fsc/HSSC/A-Levels/12th Grade, awaiting result can also apply for NUMS Entry Test 2022.
• Passing PMC MDCAT with 65% marks shall be mandatory for admission in MBBS and 55% marks for BDS in above mentioned Nums colleges as per PMC Public Announcement dated 16th May 2022.
